     In the mid of 2009, I was given order to create a new program about national election. I proposed my own proposal to the News Director of Trans7 instead of executing the origin program given to me. I made presentations and the result was good. My project proposal (than called Kontrak Politik) was accepted and being delivered succsesfully to the Board of Directors meeting to get green light. 

 

       It was about a month later, the trailer of the first episode being shown and on aired a week later. We're so exciting because this concept program was unique and original. Kontrak Politik based on idea that two competing politicians next to election could be put in to a race to deal with her or his constituent's problem and try to win their heart. Designated to be look alike reality show format, Kontrak Politik absolutely was an entertaning newsy TV show. The unique and original idea of Kontrak Politik was giving chances to public exposes by Koran Kompas and Republika.

 

     I remember the first episode of Kontrak Politik to be on aired was a parliamentary candidate from Partai Demokrat, Nova Riyanti Yusuf (then chosen) and a parliamentary candidate from PDIP, Raya Pratiwi who had been in the same election zona. They were competing each other to win the heart of Pak Sidup whose house in threatened by flood of Ciliwung river at Rawasari, South Jakarta. They made their own program to persuate Pak Sidup for leaving the prohibited flood plain and in the end Pak Sidup himself will choose one of the two options.
